Vagary

You don’t wage a war 

Against your fears 

To conquer them 

Rather you befriend with them 

Love them 

Pat them 

And they will leave on their own 

Just like, most people do

When being loved and appreciated!

If you are afraid of dark 

Don’t lit up the candle to fight it 

Rather put your head 

In the lap of darkness 

Sing it a Lullaby 

And you will find darkness 

Crawling its fingers 

Right through your hair.

If you are scared of water,

Don’t learn how to swim in it 

Rather shed some tears in it 

Trapped behind the eyes

Make the ocean home 

And it will allow you 

To sail over its layers 

If you are scared to look down 

While standing on the sky

Then you should know 

You have the highest ground under feet

While the thing you feel afraid of 

Is nothing but a descending pathway 

So the one at the top 

Should never worry about 

What is placed at the bottom 

Just Fix the focus of your lens 

And cherish the life being unclouded 

As blur image drains off life out of life!
